Carly Klingbiel is an artist based in Chicago, Illinois whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, drawing, collage, bookbinding, printmaking, poetry, and metalwork. Her work is rooted in themes of femininity, nostalgia, and the inherent beauty of being a woman. Weaving together the softness and magic of girlhood with the strength and complexity of womanhood, creating works that encapsulate the life of a woman.

Carly graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Painting and a minor in Art History. Guided by her love for materials, she moves between mediums creating pieces that feel intimate and ethereal. Her artworks along with her jewelry, are crafted with attention to embellishment, memory, and emotional resonance.

Her work has been exhibited and collected internationally, and she has received multiple awards recognizing both her technical skill and distinct voice as a contemporary artist.
